Objectives: To map the scientific evidence about the influence of the role of nurse specialists in rehabilitation in the promotion of independence in stroke patients in activities of daily living. Method: The research was conducted in January 2021 in the databases B-ON, Google Scholar and PMC, was considered the time space from January 2017 to January 2021 and the descriptors were conjugated with boleanos "and".The Scoping Review intends to map the evidence and started from the central question: "What is the role of the nurse specialist in rehabilitation, in promoting independence in the daily life activities (ADl's) of stroke patients?"Results: From the universe of 45 articles found, remain 8 ater applying inclusion criteria. Conclusion: We corroborate that the action of the Nurse Specialist in Rehabilitation in the rehabilitation process of patients with stroke is central, contributing to greater independence at the level of daily life activities ADL's, resulting in gains in health.
