Riparian forests are important ecological corridors that are directly linked to the maintenance of the quality and quantity of water resources, being fundamental the knowledge of their biological diversity. Thus, the objective of this study was to inventory the floristic composition of riparian forest fragments in the municipality of Pedro II, Piauí. A total of 146 species were identified, distributed in 126 genera and 52 families, the most representative being the Fabaceae. However, there was a low similarity between the analyzed areas, a common feature of these ecosystems, marked by floristic heterogeneity.
