Urinary incontinence refers to the involuntary loss of urine in general, a large part of women in childbirths and who practice physical activities, through the presence of the lesion of the responsible muscles. Physical therapy exercises help control urine. This research aims to verify how urinary incontinence involving physical exercises are fundamental for the control of urine through involuntary loss. In general, the women affected are postpartum, and the muscles are injured. Urinary incontinence has several ways to be pointed out in women, however, postpartum is the highest intensity among women. Activities that require a lot of effort can contribute to urinary incontinence, through physical therapy exercises it is possible to allocate and seek resources so that the woman will feel comfortable and cure her health problem. The metodologic developed is of a bibliographic nature (authors from 2000 to 2020, who address urinary incontinence and the use of physical therapy exercises. Urinary incontinence is a discomfort for women regarding what is part of their daily lives, thus, the exercises physical therapists facilitate this discomfort with greater security and confidence for women.
