This literature review will report the hormonal profile of pregnant women with Covid-19 and its main means of fetal transmission, main clinical complications in both pregnant women and fetuses and therapeutic measures. The risks that pregnant women run because they are more vulnerable to contracting the SARS-CoV-2 virus due to their changes in hormonal profile. Viral infections during pregnancy increased physiological changes during pregnancy, increasing the severity of the disease. Therefore, pregnant women should redouble their care, as the symptoms of Covid-19 are similar to a common flu. So the combination of pregnancy and a SARS-CoV-2 infection is not having an optimistic outcome, it is uncertain in women with heart disease and hypertensive disorders, these conditions have represented the main causes of maternal and fetal mortality in pregnancy.
