The term "virtual cancellation", the subject of this article, has been much debated in recent years, the practice is used as a way to penalize a person, a group or an institution that has generated a negative impact on social networks, however, what there is little debate about the damage to mental health that these attacks cause in the individual affected by this practice. The aim of this article is to analyze, understand and identify the impacts of the culture of cancellation on the mental health of users of social networks considering the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. It will still be considered how these individuals are relating to the networks during this atypical period, and what are the consequences of the virtual cancellation in the lives of those who suffer this verdict. The adopted research methodology was exploratory with a qualitative method in the light of phenomenology, and for this, a bibliographic survey and semi-structured questionnaires were used, which will be answered by people who have had experiences with the researched problem. We can consider that through cancellation and virtual lynching on social networks, victims generally end up experiencing injuries that cause damage, both in the psychological and social sphere.
