Abstract

In a context of increasing global integration and a dynamic business environment, organizations face constant transformations and challenges that require greater adaptability to change. In this scenario, the use of digital technologies has become essential to ensure competitiveness, innovation, and business sustainability, while contributing directly to the achievement of organizational objectives. This study aims to analyze the impact of digital technologies on organizations, addressing aspects related to technological evolution, innovation, digital transformation, and strategic planning. This is a bibliographic study with a qualitative and exploratory approach, developed through the analysis of scientific articles, books, theses, dissertations, and institutional documents, based on searches conducted in the electronic databases SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) e Google Scholar. The analysis sought to understand how resources such as automation, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, Big Data, and the Internet of Things influence organizational performance by promoting improvements in organizational processes, decision-making, and business competitiveness. The discussion was based on classical and contemporary authors in the fields of management, innovation, and digital transformation. The results indicate that the incorporation of these technologies enhances operational efficiency, fosters innovation, improves decision-making processes, and strengthens organizational competitiveness. However, the adoption of these solutions still faces challenges related to technological infrastructure, workforce qualification, information security, and resistance to organizational change. It is concluded that technological strategic planning is an essential element for guiding the efficient implementation of digital technologies, fostering innovation, competitiveness, sustainability, and organizational development.
