Abstract

This study analyzed the entrepreneurial attitude of women who are members of the Women Entrepreneurs and Culture Council of Tocantins (CMEC-TO), Brazil. The objective was to identify entrepreneurial attitudes through the Entrepreneurial Attitude Measurement Instrument (IMAE), considering the dimensions of achievement, planning, power, and innovation. A descriptive quantitative research design was adopted with a sample of 25 women entrepreneurs from a population of 60 members. Data were collected through the IMAE questionnaire composed of 36 items. The results indicated a high level of entrepreneurial attitude among participants, especially in the dimensions of achievement and power. The findings confirm theoretical assumptions regarding entrepreneurial behavior and reinforce the importance of entrepreneurial competencies among women leaders. The study contributes to academic knowledge and provides support for public policies and institutional actions aimed at strengthening female entrepreneurship.
