This comparative study investigates the phenomenon of burnout among court officers in Portugal and Brazil, focusing on the analysis of syndrome levels, contributing factors, and mitigation strategies in both contexts. The research is bibliographical in nature and applies the deductive method, developed through the analysis of scientific publications addressing burnout among court officers in Brazil and Portugal. It is based on authors such as Gil (2019), Lakatos and Marconi (2017), and Prodanov and Freitas (2013), adopting a comparative perspective to identify similarities and differences between the two contexts. Databases such as SciELO, Google Scholar, CAPES Journals, and RCAAP were consulted, prioritizing studies published between 2020 and 2025. The analysis followed the stages of identification, selection, and interpretation of materials, aiming to understand the factors influencing burnout in the work of court officers. Based on secondary data from academic databases, institutional reports, and regulatory documents, the study reveals that the incidence of burnout is higher among court officers in Brazil, particularly within the Court of Justice of Pernambuco, due to more precarious working conditions. In Portugal, greater stability and organizational structure contribute to lower rates, although the phenomenon remains present. The results highlight the need for specific prevention and care strategies in both countries, emphasizing the particularities of each context.
