Dengue is an arboviral disease of great relevance, presenting higher incidence in tropical regions. Climatic factors associated with disordered urbanization and deficiencies in basic sanitation favor the proliferation of the vector and the increase in disease cases. The present study aimed to describe the forms of dengue proliferation, analyzing its etiological agent and the factors related to its incidence. In addition, it sought to evaluate the relationship between climatic factors and the occurrence of cases in the municipality of Canavieiras, using data provided by the Departamento de Informática do Sistema Único de Saúde (DATASUS), as well as to observe the frequency of notifications between the years 2022 and the 10th epidemiological week of 2026, in which the following information was collected: number of dengue cases in the municipality and epidemiological profile (age group, sex, and environmental condition). During summer and autumn, a higher incidence of dengue cases was observed due to higher rainfall levels and elevated temperatures. From the analyses carried out, it was verified that certain groups present greater vulnerability to infection, while others present greater risks of developing complications. This study reinforces the importance of implementing effective prevention measures, vector control, and epidemiological surveillance.
