This study addresses the production of handmade soaps as a sustainable and economically viable alternative in the personal hygiene sector. Soap, which has evolved since the Phoenicians, is now as essential item whose artisanal production allows for therapeutic customization and the reduction of environmental impacts. The objectives of this work are to develop a glycerin soap formulation using Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) and Sicilian Lemon (Citrus limon), evaluating its antiseptic efficiency and the reduction of operational costs compared to niche active ingredients. As a method, a literature review and experimental laboratory research of the Melt and Pour type were chosen. The results demonstrated that the synergy between Rosemary and Lemon provides a fragrance with high sensory acceptance (92% approval) and a 15,4% reduction in raw material costs. It was concluded that the product is an efficient alternative, presenting toning and bactericidal properties, being ideal for low-cost and high value-added entrepreneurship.
