First aid consists of immediate interventions performed on individuals who have suffered some type of accident, with the aim of preserving their vital functions and preventing the worsening of the clinical condition until specialized professionals can provide appropriate care. the training of education professionals by nurses is a highly relevant strategy, as it enables teachers and school staff to act quickly and effectively in urgent and emergency situations, preventing complications and providing a safer environment. In light of the above, this study aims to analyze the role of Nursing in training education professionals in first aid. This was an integrative literature review that was conducted using LILACS, BDENF, and Medline databases, employing the descriptors “First Aid,” “Health Education,” “School Health Services,” and “Nursing,” combined with the Boolean operator AND. Primary studies with qualitative, quantitative, or mixed approaches, published between 2021 and 2026 in Portuguese, were included. Duplicate studies, studies in languages other than Portuguese, incomplete studies, and materials such as editorials, gray literature, and monographs were excluded. Many teachers have limited knowledge of first aid, which may compromise initial care in emergency situations in the school environment. Educational strategies, such as theoretical-practical training and the use of digital technologies, have been shown to enhance the knowledge and confidence of these professionals. In this context, the role of nursing in developing educational actions aimed at training and health promotion in the school environment stands out. Thus, nursing plays a fundamental role in training education professionals in first aid through educational actions and training programs, contributing to greater safety and preparedness in the school environment when facing emergency situations.
