Abstract

Faced with the progressive increase in electricity demand and the urgency for clean and autonomous energy sources, photovoltaic generation has consolidated itself as the main solution for energy decentralization in Brazil. This work analyzes the technical and economic landscape of solar energy in 2026, focusing on the comparison between On-Grid (grid-connected) and Off-Grid (isolated with storage) systems. The objective is to evaluate the applicability of each model in residential sectors and compare the implementation costs of the systems.
