This study aims to analyze the impacts of active listening on organizational climate and employee motivation, considering its relevance in the context of contemporary management. The research adopted a qualitative approach supported by descriptive quantitative data and was conducted through an online questionnaire applied to employees from different areas and hierarchical levels. A total of 55 valid responses were collected, allowing a consistent analysis of participants’ perceptions. The results indicate that, although active listening is recognized as important, its application remains limited, especially regarding feedback from leadership. It was observed that only 43.6% of respondents perceive that their opinions are consistently considered, while 70.9% reported having been negatively affected by the lack of listening. Furthermore, the findings show that active listening directly influences motivation, engagement, and the perception of organizational climate. Qualitative responses reinforce these results by highlighting the need for greater openness to dialogue, appreciation of employees’ opinions, and more participatory leadership practices. It is concluded that active listening should be understood as a strategic practice, essential for building more balanced, participatory organizational environments aligned with contemporary management demands.
