Disruptive, impulse-control, and conduct disorders comprise a group of psychiatric conditions characterized by persistent impairments in emotional and behavioral regulation, often associated with significant social, academic, and familial consequences. This study aimed to analyze, through a systematic literature review, the main aspects related to the etiology, pathophysiology, prevalence, diagnosis, and treatment of these disorders. The methodology followed PRISMA guidelines, with searches conducted in PubMed, SciELO, and Web of Science databases, including studies published between 2020 and 2025. After applying eligibility criteria, 30 studies were included in the final analysis. Findings indicate a multifactorial etiology involving genetic, neurobiological, and environmental factors, with emphasis on alterations in cortico-limbic circuits and neurotransmitter systems. Psychosocial interventions demonstrate greater effectiveness, particularly when implemented early and integrated into multidisciplinary approaches. Preventive strategies and public health policies are essential to mitigate the long-term impact of these disorders.
