This study aimed to analyze the performance of the Judicial Center for Conflict Resolution and Citizenship (CEJUSC) in the extrajudicial mediation of family conflicts, highlighting the role of Parenting and Divorce Workshops as a preventive, educational, and dialogue-promoting instrument. The research adopted a qualitative approach, of a bibliographic and documentary nature, based on Resolution nº. 125/2010 of the National Council of Justice (CNJ), the 2015 Code of Civil Procedure, and Law No. 13.140/2015. The study focused on the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), analyzing the effectiveness of mediation practices and workshops. The results show that, in the State of Tocantins, the implementation of these workshops demonstrates the Judiciary's commitment to promoting a more humanized justice system that is sensitive to the needs of families. Despite the progress observed, challenges remain regarding expanding access to these services, disseminating information about the activities carried out by the CEJUSCs (Judicial Centers for Conflict Resolution and Citizenship), and providing continuous training for professionals involved in conducting mediation, conciliation, and educational workshops. Therefore, it can be concluded that mediation, conciliation, and educational initiatives promoted by the CEJUSCs represent important instruments for building a more efficient and participatory justice system focused on promoting social peace.
