The present study addresses elements of christianity within the scope of brazilian military police forces. It begins by contextualizing the influence of christian morality in the Western world and Brazil, moves to an analysis of specific brazilian institutions and so of Amazonas Military Police (PMAM), and concludes with the implications of this influence and the identity of the christian police officer. The methodology employed consisted of extensive qualitative and bibliographic research involving academic productions, established authors, legislation, and statistical data. The results indicate a profound relationship between the christian religion and military police corporations, manifested through elements such as chaplaincy, religious freedom, institutionalized prayers, and values expressed in legislation.
