This abstract presents a study on the importance of uninterrupted physical conditioning for the performance of the PMAM military police officer. The research aims to analyze the correlation between physical fitness and the effectiveness of neurophysiological decision-making processes, identifying the relevance of verification protocols for police survival. The methodology consists of qualitative research, with an exploratory and descriptive approach, based on a bibliographic review (SIQUEIRA; JESUS; AGUIAR, 2025). The results demonstrate that systematized exercise improves reaction time and visual perception, mitigating the effects of amygdala hijack in high-stress situations (RACORTI; REIS, 2023). It is evident that adequate conditioning allows the agent to offer responses that are "...faster, but without losing effectiveness (RACORTI; REIS, 2023; SIQUEIRA; JESUS; AGUIAR, 2025). It is concluded that maintaining high standards of health and fitness is vital for operational readiness, since, as stated by Morgado, Morgado, and Ferreira (2016), success in combat, the attitude taken in the face of unforeseen events, and the safety of one's own life often depend on physical qualities.
