The present essay aims to present, based on current laws, the possibility of using new technologies, supported by neuroscience, introduced in educational institutions. Based on this assessment, the National Policy for Digital Education (PNED) and its application in the classroom with teacher qualification are presented. Next, the fifth competence of the BNCC is mentioned, which emphasizes the critical, reflective, and ethical use of technological devices, followed by the presentation of Decree No. 11,713, dated September 26, 2023, which establishes the National Strategy for Connected Schools. Subsequently, some of the authors who support this topic are mentioned, and then the phases of development, according to neuroscience, are associated with appropriate technologies. Later, some of the difficulties faced by schools in adopting this effective innovation are highlighted.
