Child and adolescent mental health has become an important area of focus in public health policies, especially in light of the increase in demands related to psychological distress among children and adolescents. This study aimed to analyze the epidemiological profile and main mental health demands at a Child and Adolescent Psychosocial Care Center (CAPSi), based on institutional records for the year 2024. This is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach, based on the analysis of secondary data from the service's medical records and administrative records. Sociodemographic variables, main initial complaints, and diagnoses classified according to the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10) were considered. The analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, with the calculation of absolute and relative frequencies. The results showed a predominance of users from low-income families and enrolled mainly in the public school system. A higher prevalence of neurodevelopmental disorders was observed, especially autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, in addition to depressive episodes and anxiety disorders. The main initial complaints were related to school difficulties, psychomotor agitation, anxiety symptoms, and self-harming behaviors. The findings reinforce the need for intersectoral and territorial strategies.
