Faced with a dramatic reality of continuous exploitation of fauna and flora in an indiscriminate manner, affecting countless living Brazilian species and often leading to the extinction of many of them, this work addresses the need for alternatives for the preservation of different animals that are suffering from indiscriminate exploitation of capitalism. The proposal does not question the form of exploitation, suggesting an alternative, such as breeding animals in captivity in a profitable way. This work also addresses the study of the economic viability of breeding a specific species of wild bird. The third sector is fundamentally important in promoting institutions that preserve the lives of wild animals, through NGOs, non-profit companies, foundations, among others. The methodology carries out a comprehensive review of the literature to understand the importance of the third sector against trafficking and breeding of wild animals. The objective is to propose a study that highlights the importance of creating non-governmental institutions that care for our fauna.
