With the aim of profiling the users of the Library of the Balsas Science Center of the Federal University of Maranhão (CCBL/UFMA), from January 1, 2013 to January 21, 2026, this work presents, based on data generated via Academic Activities Management (SIGAA/UFMA), a quantitative analysis of these potential readers, also considering various factors and contexts, such as shift, user gender, courses with the most book loans, percentage of users with the most loans, etc. Methodologically, of a quantitative nature, the research was developed from reports extracted from SIGAA/UFMA (Library module), which were tabulated, organized, interpreted and described. The results show that, throughout the period, there was an annual average of approximately 1,784 loans in the aforementioned Library, a still small amount compared to the total number of students at CCBL/UFMA. Furthermore, over 99% of the total loans were for external use, that is, for reading outside the library, and the percentage of the 50 students with the highest number of book loans during the period was evenly distributed between males and females, with a difference of only 8% more for men.
