ADMINISTRATIVE GOVERNANCE AS A TOOL FOR THE PREVENTION OF LEGAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE RISKS IN ORGANIZATIONS

Abstract

This article analyzes administrative governance as an instrument for preventing legal and administrative risks in organizations. In an organizational context marked by increasing regulatory complexity and intensified institutional responsibilities, the absence of structured processes, internal controls, and clear decision-making criteria increases organizations’ exposure to legal liabilities, administrative failures, and institutional instability. The study adopts a qualitative approach of a theoretical, exploratory, and descriptive nature, based on bibliographic research through the analysis of books, scientific articles, and institutional documents related to administrative governance, corporate governance, compliance, and risk management. The results indicate that administrative governance plays a central role in organizing management, guiding compliance-based decision-making, and mitigating legal and administrative risks in a preventive manner. Furthermore, the interface between administrative governance and compliance strengthens an organizational culture oriented toward ethics and legality. It is concluded that the adoption of structured administrative governance practices significantly contributes to legal certainty, organizational longevity, and economic and institutional development, establishing administrative governance as a strategic instrument for organizational sustainability.
