This article aims to analyze the influence of the menstrual cycle on the physical performance of women in the Paraná Military Police (PMPR) and to propose adaptations to the Physical Fitness Tests (TAFs) for internal promotion. It is based on the hypothesis that the natural hormonal variations during the different phases of the menstrual cycle significantly impact the strength, endurance, and well-being of female officers, which may result in unfair evaluations and barriers to career advancement. The research relies on scientific studies, institutional data from the PMPR, and an interview with a specialist on the subject. The results indicate that the current standardization of the TAFs does not take these variations into account, contributing to demotivation and gender inequality. Measures such as flexible scheduling, adaptation of criteria, specific training, and internal monitoring are proposed, aiming for a fairer and more inclusive evaluation. The implementation of these measures could increase diversity and strengthen the force, promoting real equity in promotion opportunities.
