Data were collected through a questionnaire applied to nurses in both shifts of works containing 5 questions about the suggested theme, which allowed us to visualize the difficulties faced by health professionals in carrying out their daily activities as well as their knowledge and strategies to be used by them in the applicability of care to cancer patients domiciled in palliative process within its coverage area. Results: It was observed within the quantitative (mixed) qualitative expectation that most nurses practicing the research were insecure about the topic addressed, much was said about the relevant issues, the lack of experience, knowledge and support for the realization of possible strategies to be implemented for this specific type of assistance. Conclusion: It was concluded that it is necessary to seek subsidies to reach and understand the nurses' perceptions regarding the issue of the suggested theme, which brings us closer to the main pertinent questions about the care of domiciled palliative cancer patients, since we lack knowledge of cause and theoretical-scientific technique to provide this service with absolute safety, taking into account the main guiding questions that go beyond the maintenance of pain relief for these patients
