The Family Health Strategy (FHS) is essential for the early identification of risks during prenatal care, especially in severe conditions such as Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS), which induces a prothrombotic state capable of causing pre-eclampsia and fetal death. This study aimed to analyze the role of the FHS in the clinical and preventive management of APS, focusing on the prophylaxis of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) through the use of heparin. An integrative literature review was conducted using databases such as PubMed, SciELO, and LILACS, with controlled descriptors and inclusion criteria for studies published between 2020 and 2026. The results indicated that early intervention with Low Molecular Weight Heparin (LMWH) drastically reduces the incidence of DVT and increases live birth rates to 85%. The FHS bond proved to be a determining factor for therapeutic adherence and postpartum monitoring. The discussion emphasizes that heparin acts as an inflammatory modulator and that the FHS mitigates socioeconomic and health literacy barriers. It is concluded that the performance of the FHS is the determining pillar for the successful management of APS, ensuring continuity of care and the reduction of maternal morbidity and mortality in the Unified Health System.
