Abstract

This article addresses the use of technology in quality management in education, discussing its impacts on promoting institutional and pedagogical excellence. It starts from the understanding that technological transformations have caused significant changes in educational management processes, requiring institutions to adopt new forms of organization, planning, and monitoring of administrative and pedagogical practices. The objective of the study is to analyze how technology can contribute to strengthening educational quality management, favoring the continuous improvement of institutional processes and teaching practices. Methodologically, the research is characterized as bibliographic, based on books, scientific articles, and institutional documents that address educational management, quality in education, and the use of digital technologies in the school context. The analysis of the selected studies shows that technology, when used in a planned way and aligned with educational objectives, contributes to the organization of management processes, to the more systematic use of educational indicators, to the strengthening of institutional communication, and to the support of teaching work. The results also indicate that the integration between technology and quality management favors more reflective, collaborative, and sensitive pedagogical practices to the needs of students, in addition to contributing to the construction of an institutional culture oriented towards evaluation and continuous improvement. It is concluded that the strategic use of technology in educational management represents a promising path for the promotion of institutional and pedagogical excellence, provided it is accompanied by adequate training of professionals and policies that guarantee equitable conditions of access to and use of technological resources.
