Introduction: Rheumatologic diseases are defined as disorders that affect the musculoskeletal system and have a potential for chronicity, impacting both the health status and the social relationships of the patient and their family. Thus, the quality of life of these patients is affected by different domains, such as physical, emotional, and social, among others. Objective: To determine the quality of life of patients under 18 years old with rheumatic diseases being followed up at the General Pediatric Hospital Niños de Acosta Ñu in 2023, through the application of the validated PEDsQL questionnaire. Methodology: Observational, descriptive, prospective, and cross-sectional study. Parents of patients under 18 years old with rheumatic disease who attended consultations at the General Pediatric Hospital Niños de Acosta Ñu (HGP) in 2023 were included. Data was collected from the HIS System database to obtain demographic information. Subsequently, during rheumatology clinic visits, the PEDsQL questionnaire was applied. The data obtained from the survey were entered into Microsoft Excel and analyzed using the SPSS software. Results: The general health status of rheumatologic patients showed that 76% (40/52) had an excellent/very good health condition. Conclusion: Patients with rheumatologic diseases showed greater difficulties in the school domain; however, overall, they demonstrated an excellent or very good general health status.
