This study investigates the mental health crisis within the Military Police of Amazonas (PMAM), marked by the exponential increase in psychiatric leaves between 2019 and 2024. The objective is to analyze Christian spirituality as a protective factor and religious coping strategy to mitigate occupational stress. The methodology adopted a mixed-method approach (qualitative-quantitative), triangulating bibliographic review with documentary analysis of Medical Board records. Results indicate that, despite recent management initiatives in 2024-2025 (such as Forums and the expansion of the CPSI), a structural deficit of professionals persists regarding the demand. In this scenario, faith acts as positive coping, promoting resilience and stress regulation. It is concluded that the Chaplaincy's religious assistance performs a strategic function of emotional "first aid," and its institutionalization as a State policy is indispensable to fill the gaps still existing in the psychosocial protection network.
