This article aimed to develop a digital platform focused on animal protection and welfare, emphasizing the monitoring of mistreatment and promoting responsible adoption. The research was conducted through a case study and a qualitative approach, allowing for an in-depth understanding of the needs of users and institutions involved in the animal cause. The methodology included interviews with 30 volunteers and/or professionals involved in animal causes , in addition to the practical analysis of the system under development. The project was structured based on agile methodologies, utilizing the Laravel framework and languages such as PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, which enabled greater efficiency in building the solution. The results demonstrated that the application of agile practices accelerated the development process and favored communication among team members , while the case study evidenced the positive impact of social technology on the integration between citizens, volunteers, and institutions. It was found that the system contributes to social awareness, making the adoption process more transparent and accessible. It is concluded that the use of technological solutions, grounded in qualitative research and case studies, strengthens social responsibility and expands community engagement in animal protection actions.
