This report aims to describe the observation internship experience carried out at the Gabriela de Carvalho Psychosocial Support Clinic, which provides care for patients with various mental pathologies, such as Alzheimer's, dementia, schizophrenia, Down syndrome, among others. The observation focused on the institutional dynamics, the interaction between patients and the multidisciplinary team, as well as the practices adopted to promote the well-being and quality of life of the residents. The methodology used consisted of participant observation, recording aspects of the environment, interpersonal relationships, and the interventions applied. The results highlighted the importance of psychological and social support for these individuals, emphasizing the need for humanized and individualized approaches in mental health care. It is concluded that the support center plays a fundamental role in the assistance and rehabilitation of patients, reinforcing the relevance of psychology in the institutional context.
