The present article presents the development and feasibility analysis of the Saúde Fácil mobile application, designed to address accessibility challenges and fragmentation in the healthcare sector, especially within the urban context of São Luís, Maranhão. The main objective was to propose a digital solution that integrates essential functionalities—such as appointment scheduling, medication reminders, an informative chatbot, and the location of healthcare units—in order to enhance user autonomy and optimize access to healthcare services. The methodology combined qualitative research, grounded in documentary analysis and exploratory interviews regarding the technological barriers faced by patients, with an applied case study, which consisted of the construction and evaluation of a functional prototype of the application. The development process followed the MVC architecture, using Spring Boot (Java) for the back-end and React Native for the front-end, and was validated through controlled simulations of performance and usability. The results indicated high technical feasibility of the solution, with a projected satisfaction index of 8.5/10, as well as confirmation that integrating multiple resources into a single platform helps reduce access barriers. It is concluded that Saúde Fácil represents a robust proof of concept in Computer Engineering, supporting the continuation of field testing and potential integration with public healthcare systems.
