Abstract

This paper will analyze the legal consequences of surrogacy and its role in the formation of kinship relations. To this end, it will examine the legal nature of the institution as well as the current legal framework applicable to it. Finally, it aims to answer whether there is a parental relationship between the surrogate mother and the child born from such a pregnancy.
