This study examines how family income influences children’s oral health, recognizing that socioeconomic factors directly affect access to dental services, hygiene practices, and the development of oral diseases. The research was conducted through an integrative literature review including recent studies from national and international databases. The results indicate that children from low-income families show higher prevalence of dental caries, limited access to preventive measures, and greater obstacles to receiving adequate treatment. Factors such as household conditions and access to treated water also proved relevant to oral health outcomes. The findings demonstrate that economic inequalities significantly impact children’s oral health, affecting their well-being and overall development. It is concluded that strengthening primary care and expanding public oral health policies are essential strategies to reduce inequalities and promote better childhood health conditions.
