Abstract

This article aims to evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of trackers in photovoltaic plants, considering that the growing demand for clean energy drives the search for more efficient solutions in solar generation. Based on this information, a small-scale solar tracker prototype was developed to be used as a comparison factor with plants that use trackers in their modules. The methodology includes a literature review and the assembly of the prototype, with an analytical function of the studies. The results show that the system efficiently tracks incident light, representing a real tracker on a reduced scale. The study reinforces the importance of solar tracking for energy optimization and its practical application in engineering and research in renewable energies.
