This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of physiotherapeutic interventions in the conservative treatment of lumbar disc herniation, focusing on approaches such as Pilates, manual therapy, stabilization exercises, and electrotherapy. A narrative literature review was conducted, selecting articles published between 2020 and 2025, covering studies available in the SciELO, PubMed, and PEDro databases. The methodology used consisted of analyzing the results of the applied treatments, with an emphasis on pain reduction and improvement in functional mobility of the patients. The results indicate that physiotherapeutic approaches are effective in relieving the symptoms of lumbar disc herniation, with Pilates and manual therapy standing out in improving patients' quality of life and reducing the need for surgical interventions. However, there is a need for further studies with larger samples and long-term follow-ups to confirm the superiority of specific therapeutic approaches.
