Mobile Pre-Hospital Care (APH) aims to provide immediate support to victims in urgent and emergency situations, reducing complications and increasing survival rates. The Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) stands out in this context for providing rapid assistance to traumatic or clinical conditions outside the hospital environment. In incidents with multiple victims (IMV), characterized by the presence of more than five victims and a disproportion between available resources and demand, there is an overload of services, requiring the support of other auxiliary forces. In these occurrences, the adoption of rapid triage protocols, such as Simple Triage and Rapid Treatment (START), allows for agile assessment, objective triage, and assignment of these victims according to their priority. Nurses play a central role in the management of IMVs, acting as team coordinators, coordinating flows, supervising processes, and applying triage protocols. The objective of this study article was to address the duties of mobile APH nurses in the face of IMVs, highlighting their importance in coordinating this emergency scenario. The research is defined as an integrative literature review, conducted in national scientific databases with publications between 2021 and 2025. The main results indicated that nurses act as operational leaders and coordinators of the multidisciplinary team, actively participating from the application of triage protocols to the management of resources and communication between the different levels of care. It is concluded that mobile APH nurses play a fundamental and extremely important role in managing the scenario and classifying patients, contributing to each victim receiving appropriate care according to their priority.
