Violence against women constitutes a serious public health problem that demands interdisciplinary and humanized actions within the scope of nursing care. This study aimed to analyze the practices, challenges, and articulation strategies adopted by nurses in the reception and comprehensive care of victims of violence. The methodology consisted of a narrative literature review, based on recent scientific publications from 2021 to 2025, selected from health databases, prioritizing studies that addressed the role of nurses, humanized care, and intersectoral articulation. The results showed that the care provided by nurses is based on active listening, empathy, and respect for the woman's autonomy, which is essential for building rapport and appropriately directing her to support services. However, significant challenges were identified, such as the scarcity of human and structural resources, the lack of continuous training, and the fragility of protection networks. Ongoing education and integration between the health, social assistance, public safety, and justice sectors, as advocated by the Ministry of Health's Network for Attention to People in Situations of Violence, proved fundamental to ensuring the effectiveness and continuity of care. It is concluded that the nurse's role is essential in promoting ethical, humanized, and intersectoral care, contributing to the reconstruction of dignity and the realization of the rights of women victims of violence.
