Abstract

This article aims to analyze the elimination of travel time brought about by the Labor Reform in relation to rural workers. Law 13,467/2017, which introduced the Labor Reform, was focused only on urban workers. In this sense, the question that will guide the research arises: does the non-computation of travel time apply to rural workers or not? The article was developed through documentary and bibliographic research, using as references the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT), specifically Article 58, §2, Law No. 13/467/2017, the Precedents of the Superior Labor Court (TST), as well as scientific articles and journals. It is concluded that the elimination of travel time has generated uncertainty regarding its application to rural workers. Despite the absence of express legal provisions, the peculiarity of travel conditions in the countryside keeps the debate open.
