Artificial Intelligence (AI) is profoundly transforming radiology practice, with the potential to enhance diagnostic accuracy and workflow efficiency. However, its implementation raises ethical, legal, and regulatory challenges that require critical examination. This narrative literature review, based on publications from 2020 to 2025, synthesizes key concerns regarding explainability (XAI), data privacy and protection, civil liability, algorithmic bias, health equity, and institutional governance. The findings highlight the need for robust regulatory frameworks, continuous human oversight, and ethical training of professionals to ensure responsible AI adoption in radiology.
