SISTEMA PRISIONAL E ADOECIMENTO PSÍQUICO DAS MULHERES EM PRIVAÇÃO DE LIBERDADE: UMA REVISÃO BIBLIOGRÁFICA

Abstract

This academic work aimed to analyze the scientific productions in the field of mental health of incarcerated women and how psychological suffering has appeared in these productions in recent years. The methodology used was the review of narrative bibliography through Ebooks, on platforms such as sciELO, BDTD, BVS-PSI, which were essential for data collection. As a result, it was observed that despite the existing productions, studies in the area are few and cannot cover the full implications related to the promotion of mental health in the prison environment and that despite the developments in psychology and other areas, the prison system makes collection difficult. of data and application of methodologies because it is a hostile environment that promotes countless forms of violence.
