The emergence of Copyright Law is clearly related to the development of the means of communication throughout the Modern Age. Since then, this right has accompanied social and industrial movements. However, at the present time, the world is in full technological development, especially in the digital area. Thus, what has been perceived is a legislative delay in the face of the advances of the so-called Digital Age. Given this scenario, this study aimed to discuss the impact that the Digital Age and all its current tools have influenced the dissemination of Copyright Law in Brazil. It was based on a bibliographic review, based on scientific articles, books, periodicals and current legislation on the respective subject. Data collection will be carried out through databases such as Scielo, Google Scholar, among others, in the period from 2020 to 2025. The results clearly show that existing copyright laws are not sufficient to adequately protect digital works, considering the new forms of reproduction and distribution. The implementation of new digital technologies and mechanisms can help improve copyright control and protection in the digital age. The lack of unified global regulation hinders the effective enforcement of copyright on digital platforms operating in different jurisdictions.
