Abstract

This study analyzes the construction of self-image by autistic influencers on social media, articulating issues of neurodiversity, copyright, and image protection. The objective is to understand how digital visibility impacts the identity and rights of these individuals. An integrative literature review methodology was used, based on Souza, Silva, and Carvalho (2010), with a qualitative and exploratory approach. Studies published between 2020 and 2025 were selected from the SciELO, PubMed, Web of Science, LILACS, and Google Scholar databases, using descriptors in three languages. Thematic analysis revealed two central categories: self-image and neurodivergent identity; and intellectual property and image rights. The study concludes that, despite the emancipatory potential of social media, there is a need to strengthen regulatory frameworks and public policies that recognize digital authorship and protect the rights of autistic individuals in digital environments.
