This study aimed to analyze the impact of digital media and audiovisual language in online teaching, exploring their contributions to curriculum transformation and pedagogical innovation. The central problem addressed was the resistance to adopting these technologies in the educational environment and the difficulties educators face in using them effectively. The research, of a bibliographic nature, was developed through the review of books, articles, and theses on the use of digital media in education. The study examined the evolution of educational media, emphasizing the importance of audiovisual language as a pedagogical tool, and analyzed how digital platforms have transformed teaching and learning processes. Additionally, it discussed the challenges faced by education, such as the lack of teacher training and inequality in access to technology. The final considerations indicated that digital media and audiovisual language have great potential to improve the learning experience, but their effective implementation depends on overcoming obstacles related to teacher training and access to technological resources. This research contributes to the understanding of the impact of these tools in education and suggests the need for further studies to evaluate solutions to these challenges.
