Self-composition, as a form of dispute resolution, has become increasingly important in the current legal context, providing faster and more efficient solutions for the parties involved. The use of tools such as Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) systems can enhance this practice, especially when there is a need for a more agile and accessible approach to dispute resolution. The concepts of self-composition and ODR will be addressed, the advantages of using this tool, as well as examples of courts that already use the technology in Brazil. Finally, it will be discussed how the use of ODR can represent a transformation in dispute resolution and contribute to the promotion of social justice in the country.
