Compelling the world of life to unfold solely in the landscape of the utilitarian objectification of hedonistic subjects is, as is well known, the core of the neoclassical economics of the rational use of resources. Based on this, this article postulates that such an interpretive structure of human action, linked to the metaphysics of subjectivity, viscerally belongs to the core of the technique as identified by Heidegger in its character of calculability in the way of unveiling and promoting the cumulative exploration of entities. It is not by chance that the call to take the conventional economic pragmatism of the neoclassical rational choice intensifies to such a point, nowadays, that its subjectivist model has been raised to the condition of regulating dictum of existence.
