Medial meniscus injury is a common cause of knee pain, especially among middle-aged athletes. When injured, the meniscus can lead to pain, functional limitation, swelling, joint instability, and, in chronic or poorly treated cases, may predispose the patient to early development of osteoarthritis. This case study aims to describe the physiotherapeutic rehabilitation process of a patient with a medial meniscus injury in the right knee, analyzing the clinical and functional progress throughout the treatment conducted at the Physical Therapy Teaching and Research Clinic of Iguaçu University. This work is a Case Study, which analyzed the case of patient A.C.C.C., diagnosed with a partial ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) and MCL (Medial Collateral Ligament) injury, and a partial medial meniscectomy with microfractures of the medial femoral condyle of the right knee. During the physiotherapy sessions recorded between February 17, 2025, and June 11, 2025, a progressive decrease in pain was observed (VAS 5 → 0–1), reduction in swelling (stable grade I, with no inflammatory signs), increased range of motion (flexion 100° → 130°, extension 60° → 0°), and improved strength (extensors grade 4, other groups grade 5). In conclusion, it can be stated that physical therapy targeted at medial meniscus injuries, when performed with technical precision and solid theoretical foundation, has the potential to significantly improve clinical outcomes in patient rehabilitation.
