THE PRESENT STUDY DISCUSSES THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION TO ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT, ALONG WITH SOME CONSIDERATIONS THAT MAY INFLUENCE DECISION-MAKING PROCESSES WITHIN THE COMPANY

Abstract

Through the development of this research, we encountered both opportunities and challenges in providing a practical experience within a real work environment. This was achieved through direct observation and clarification obtained via information formalized through a questionnaire applied within the selected company. The organization studied is a light vehicle automotive repair shop located in Palmas – TO, operating in the market for approximately 25 years and currently employing around six staff members. The choice of this topic allowed us to explore different aspects of the organizational system, as well as to analyze management tools, the organizational structure, and the company’s profile. Based on this, we identified several key observation points and, for each of them, established a connection with strategic analysis tools, in order to build a systematic and objective evaluation of the organizational functioning.
