This article analyzes the transformations in the duties of judicial officers in light of technological innovations and recent procedural reforms in Brazil. The study adopts a qualitative, descriptive approach, based on bibliographic and documentary research. Its main objective is to understand how digital and normative changes affect the daily routine and institutional role of these professionals, especially after the implementation of the Electronic Judicial Process (PJe), CNJ Resolution No. 354/2020, and adaptations related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The results show that the role of the judicial officer now requires greater technological proficiency, operational flexibility, and the ability to work in complex contexts. At the same time, challenges arise concerning career recognition, workload, and the need for ongoing training. The article concludes that judicial officers remain essential to the effectiveness of the Judiciary, mediating the transition between a traditional system and an expanding digital justice.
