Hospital Psychology is a specialty of Psychology that focuses on providing emotional and psychological care in the hospital environment, aimed at patients, their families, and healthcare professionals. This research aims to understand the positive impact of Hospital Psychology, addressing how specific interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and emotional support, help in coping with situations of stress, anxiety, and other emotional challenges associated with hospitalization. This is a qualitative study with an exploratory approach, developed through a bibliographic review, based on scientific publications between 2015 and 2025, available in databases such as SciELO, CAPES, and Google Scholar. It is observed that qualified listening, emotional management, and coping strategies promoted by the psychologist contribute to treatment adherence, patient well-being, and the mental health of the team. It is noted that the psychological care offered to both patients and professionals is essential for the quality of hospital care and for building a more humane and welcoming environment.
