THE RELEVENCE OF HUMANIZATION IN NURSING DUTIES IN PERINATAL GRIEF CARE

The human development process is marked by several phases, one of the most relevant for the individual being the first, or very first. This can be defined as a natural behavior when experiencing a calamity or loss. When this loss occurs in the perinatal setting, it represents an additional challenge, since the feelings present in a pregnancy tend to be positive and end up contrasting with the feeling of helplessness and frustration related to mourning. The study aimed to discuss the relevance of humanizing nursing duties in perinatal mourning care. This is a literature review with a qualitative exploratory approach through searches in renowned databases such as: SCIELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online), Google Scholar and Public Knowledge Project (PKP), from 2015 to 2025. The grieving process. It is concluded that the nurse becomes essential for promoting well-being and overcoming the grief of those who are bereaved and involved in a perinatal loss.
